“Our Community Needs Grant Program supports local not-for-profit organizations that are dedicated to enriching DuPage County,” said Roger McDougal, chair of the Foundation’s Grant Committee. “We are thankful for the myriad services and programs they provide that contribute to a strong, vibrant, and culturally- and environmentally-rich community. In addition, we are thankful for the donors who have invested in the Foundation. It is their generosity that makes our support possible.”

Applications for DuPage Foundation’s Community Needs Grant Program are accepted twice per year and are reviewed by the Foundation’s volunteer Grant Committee.

“We have a very dedicated group of Grant Committee members who devote hours to the review process,” said Barb Szczepaniak, Foundation vice president for programs. “They bring diverse perspectives that contribute to a robust review of the applications and ensure that the Foundation continues to be good stewards with the funds entrusted to us.”
