DuPage Foundation’s Annual Benefit Raises More Than $470,000 To Date

A celebration of community philanthropy was held on Saturday, November 5, as DuPage Foundation’s Annual Benefit: Bonjour DuPage, welcomed nearly 300 guests to experience the grandeur of French cabaret at The Westin Chicago-Lombard.

With generous support from donors, community partners and sponsors, the evening was a night to remember, grossing nearly $470,000 to date for DuPage Foundation operations and programs aimed at raising the quality of life throughout DuPage County. Additional contributions toward the event are expected through year-end.

As part of the event, nearly $140,000 was generated during a paddle raise, thanks in part to a generous $50,000 matching challenge from Duly Health and Care, Earl and Kay Harbaugh of St. Charles, and Joe and Amy Weidenbach of Naperville.

DuPage Foundation President & CEO Dave McGowan hosted the event with celebrated community leader and Foundation volunteer Nicki Anderson of Naperville.

“I am grateful for the phenomenal support the Foundation continues to receive annually toward the Benefit,” said McGowan. “It is a testament to our community’s commitment to philanthropy here in DuPage County. Thank you to our Premier Sponsor Northern Trust, Lead Matching Challenge Partner Duly Health and Care, and all of our other event sponsors, attendees and supporters. Your investments fuel our ability to deliver vital programs and service to our community and help us SEE MORE IMPACT together. Thank you for believing in the power of coordinated impact and trusting us as your community foundation!”

The evening featured gourmet French-inspired cuisine, music by the French jazz band lePercolateur, a Can-Can performance by The Honey Taps, casino-themed games and more.

Congratulations to the first place raffle winner, Patricia Atuesta of Hinsdale, who recommended Family Focus DuPage to receive a $1,000 grant from DuPage Foundation.
