DOWNERS GROVE, Illinois—The DuPage Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of William C. Pearch as its new marketing manager. He is a seasoned professional who brings more than 20 years of marketing and communication experience from both the for- and not-for-profit arenas to our staff. Pearch joined the Foundation on February 1.
In his new role, Pearch will be responsible for focusing the Foundation’s messaging to its various constituents and helping foster greater awareness for its mission and services throughout the community. He reports to Foundation Vice President for Advancement Michael Sitrick. "We’re delighted to have Bill joining our team,” said Sitrick. “His background and skills are an ideal fit for us and should do much to help continue the terrific momentum we've established these past few years through our rebranding and efforts to increase our visibility."
For the past eight years, Pearch focused his talents serving greater Chicagoland engineering firms. Most recently he worked as marketing and business development coordinator for Chicago-based TERRA Engineering, Ltd. where he was responsible for branding and cross-promotion of the firm’s diverse engineering services lines. He played a vital role securing work including renovations of Wrigley Field, construction of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and Loyola University Medical Center’s expansion. Prior to that, Pearch spent more than a decade leading marketing, communications and special event efforts in DuPage County for the Elmhurst and Downers Grove Park Districts.
Pearch resides in Elmhurst with his wife Susan and enjoys baseball and bicycling. He is a graduate of Elmhurst College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdepartmental Communications and a minor in Art. In addition, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University.
“As an advocate for local park districts and forest preserves, my wife and I enjoy biking the many miles of trails throughout DuPage County,” said Pearch. “I’m eager to put my skills into action and help further the outstanding work being done at the DuPage Foundation for the good of our community.”
About the DuPage Foundation
The DuPage Foundation seeks to raise the quality of life throughout DuPage County by fostering philanthropy, connecting donors to area needs and building community partnerships. Based on the American virtues of volunteerism and philanthropy, the Foundation fosters a legacy of support for the people of DuPage County by making grants to not-for-profit organizations working in the areas of Arts and Culture, Education, the Environment, Health, and Human Services. Since its inception, the Foundation has built its endowment to approximately $63 million and awarded more than $24 million in grants to not-for-profit agencies serving the residents of DuPage County and beyond.
Established in 1986, the DuPage Foundation is a publicly-supported 501(c)(3) organization to which contributions are tax deductible. It was created to benefit the people of DuPage County and receives contributions and bequests into a permanent endowment from individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations wishing to make lasting contributions to the people of DuPage.
